Today almost three decades after its journey began the Sanjeev Group continues to grow and diversity its presence with initiatives in newer and less explored areas like renewable energy food safety and so on

Foundation of Sanjeev Group
The journey began in 1988 with the establishment of Sanjeev Group, marking the beginning of a long-standing commitment to quality, precision, and customer satisfaction.
Establishment of In-house Forging Facility
A decade later, in 1998, the Group enhanced its production capabilities by introducing an in-house forging facility, enabling greater control over product integrity and manufacturing timelines.
Commencement of Exports to North America
In 1999, Sanjeev Group entered the international arena by commencing exports to North America, establishing its presence in a highly competitive global market.
Launch of Gear Manufacturing Facility
By 2001, the Group expanded its operations with the commissioning of a gear manufacturing facility, thereby strengthening its engineering portfolio and technical capabilities.
Introduction of Robotics for Shop Floor Automation
In 2010, the Group embraced automation by integrating robotics on the shop floor, a step that significantly improved efficiency, precision, and consistency in manufacturing processes.
International Expansion and Acquisition of Brimo Industries (Spain)
A major milestone was achieved in 2012 with the acquisition of Brimo Industries, a reputed agricultural equipment manufacturer based in Spain. This strategic move marked Sanjeev Group’s entry into the European market, transitioning the company into a state-of-the-art global manufacturing organization with dual operations in India and Europe.
Collaboration with Vtelebyte Software Pvt. Ltd.
In 2017, the Group entered into a collaboration with Vtelebyte Software Pvt. Ltd., integrating technology and software solutions into its manufacturing framework to strengthen its digital and analytical capabilities.
Establishment of Flagship Gear Manufacturing Facility
The year 2019 witnessed the inauguration of a flagship gear manufacturing facility, encompassing 125,000 sq ft of advanced infrastructure. The facility is equipped with a comprehensive range of machinery and quality control systems, backed by robust technological support.
Addition of Plating and Finishing Facilities
In 2022, Sanjeev Group expanded its manufacturing value chain by incorporating chrome plating and electroless nickel plating facilities, thereby enhancing product finishing and corrosion resistance.
Green Energy Initiative
Demonstrating its commitment to sustainability, the Group launched its Green Energy Initiative in 2024, achieving a significant milestone wherein 80 % of the total energy consumption now derives from renewable and green sources.
Collaboration with Mahalaxmi Ferro Cast Private Limited
In 2025, the Group entered a strategic collaboration with Mahalaxmi Ferro Cast Pvt. Ltd., enabling the addition of casting facilities at the group level.

A part of the Sanjeev Group since 2012, Brimo group is an ISO9001 certified manufacturer which produces transmission and drive train parts like gears, shafts, and gearbox assemblies for OEMs across Europe.

Sanjeev Tambolkar
As the founder of the Group, Sanjeev Tambolkar transformed his vision for automotive manufacturing excellence in India into reality. Beginning in 1988 with one modest manufacturing facility, his focus on High Performance Teams has grown Sanjeev Auto into a multi-national manufacturing presence with revenues over USD 70 million and growing. His perseverance on quality and adopting the latest technology has deeply influenced the company culture. Even today, he inspires the young team with ever energetic approach and quick thinking. An engineer at heart, he graduated from the College of Engineering, Pune with a degree in Metallurgy.
